I had a spontaneous cry this morning.

Sitting at my kitchen table come home office I overheard a snippet on the morning news about bodies being stacked up outside a funeral home in the US. COVID has caused so many deaths in such a short time they have been overwhelmed. I just lost it. Tears poured down my face for a few minutes, and then as quickly as it started it stopped. I wiped a few stray drops off my laptop and got back to work.

Because what else can I do?

I wonder if this has happened to anyone else.
